2 pounds very fresh tuna steak

1/4 cups olive oil

3 Medium Granny Smith Apples 

1/4 cups minced scallions, white and green parts

1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

1 teaspoon wasabi powder

2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons hot red pepper sauce ( I use sriracha)  

kosher salt &  pepper to taste 

3 Ripe Avocados 

Sesame seeds 




Serve with:


Pickled Ginger


Seweed salad

Vegan Blueberry/Orange Muffins

Well today is 4th of July and I decided to make some delicious muffins to start the day. I hope you enjoy them as much as John and I do.


2 cups spelt flour

1/2 cup sugar in the raw

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

2 cups fresh blueberries

1 cup orange juice

3 1/2 tbsp applesauce

2 tsp vanilla extract
